Dr. Neil Obrien
AdvisorDr. O'Brien is a consulting economic geologist and former mining executive who holds a Queen's University PhD in Geological Sciences and has over three decades of industry service with expertise in base metal exploration, including magmatic nickel-copper-platinum group element ("Ni-Cu-PGE") sulphide deposits. He has international experience on 6 continents, in all stages of mineral exploration and development of economic mineral resource projects, mining project evaluation and strategic corporate development activities. Dr. O'Brien retired in 2018 from Lundin Mining Corporation as Senior Vice President, Exploration & New Business Development. He has participated in many economic mineral discoveries, including the Eagle East Ni-Cu-PGE deposit currently being mined by Lundin Mining. Since 2018, Dr. O'Brien has been President of MOAR Consulting Inc and a public company director, including for NGEx Minerals, a Lundin Group company.
Dr. Danielle Giovenazzo
AdvisorDr. Giovenazzo is a consulting geologist, mining executive and board director with a Ph.D. in Mineral Resources from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. She has over three decades of experience in exploration, notably in project generation and project management for Ni, Cu and PGE’s, Gold, Base metals and Rare Earths projects. She has held senior positions in several companies including Falconbridge, Xstrata Nickel, Castillian Exploration, Newgenco Exploration, and Newmont-Goldcorp. Since October 2020, she has held the role of Vice-President of Exploration for Benz Mining Corp. She has also been an independent advisor and exploration consultant for several exploration companies since 2009. Most recently, Dr, Giovenazzo was an independent director of SOQUEM, a subsidiary of Investissement Québec and leader in Quebec’s mineral exploration industry and president of l’Ordre des Géologues du Québec from 2017 to 2021.
Dr. Giovenazzo is currently an independent director for Wallbridge Mining since June 2021.
